The functionaries

What an effort they put in! Every year, Ecotrail Oslo hires people from local sports clubs that we pay – and the money goes to the clubs that make an important contribution to children and youth.

On the luggage at the finish line is Ljan IL. In Sørkedalen it is KFUM. In Fossum it is Lommedalen Basket for drinks, while Bærum Cheerklubb Charmers Enchanted is for food – and they will compete in the European Championship in Prague in July! They also got a little practice in Fossum on Saturday. :)

At the last drinking station called Thaugland, it's the Lommedalen Sports Team that's really busy there in the middle of the day! But they can dance, too.  

And from this year we have joined the Rustad Abildsø football club in Holmenkollen and in goal. Those guys there have a good work ethic.

It's important that young people get work training, and they get it here under hectic conditions. When, for example, 10km and 21km come around, everyone is at the pumps!

We also always hire Norwegian People's Aid. They also take students for training. They were a big group on Saturday, and they took good care of those who were overheated, but not dehydrated. This means that the vast majority of participants followed our advice about the amount of drink between each station !
